City of Palaces – Luxor – In this city, you can admire the Temple of Hatshepsut, the Colossi of Memnon, and the Valley of the Kings, which will leave an even greater impression on you than the magnificent pyramids! It’s no surprise that Luxor was added to the UNESCO World Heritage list in 1979. You, too, can admire this piece of Egyptian history with us.
ITINERARY:
- Meeting: Around 4:00 AM in front of the hotel.
- Journey: Approximately 3–4 hours to Luxor.
- Visits:
- Karnak Temple with its magnificent hypostyle hall.
- Papyrus Institute and the Colossi of Memnon – statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III.
- At the alabaster workshop, you can observe how Egyptians handcraft souvenirs.
- Boat ride across the Nile.
- Lunch buffet (drinks not included).
- Temple of Hatshepsut and the Valley of the Kings (entry to three tombs included).
- Visit the reconstructed Avenue of Sphinxes.
- Return: Around 9:00 PM to Hurghada.
